ADB: Inflation to be 7.5% in Azerbaijan this year

Economist of ADBâ€™s representation in Azerbaijan Nail Valiyev said that in Azerbaijan the inflation is expected to be 7.5% in 2011 and 7% in 2012.

â€œFood is expected to cheapen in 2011-2012 in Azerbaijan and it is related to the steps taken in connection with food security in the country. On the other hand, stabile maintenance of national currency exchange rate is positive factorâ€.

Remind that, recently, ADB forecasted that inflation would make 4% in 2011 in Azerbaijan.

Note that, Azerbaijani government forecasts that inflation will be one figure in 2011, but International Currency Fund says that it will make 6%.
