Volume of credits increases by 10% in Azerbaijan year-on- year

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. As of March 1, 2011, volume of local credits used in Azerbaijani economy, increased by 9.7% to AZN 9.2 bln.

SCC told APA that 43.1% of credit investments were realized by state, 54.7% - private banks, 2.3% - credit organizations.

The short-term credits increased by 13.2% to AZN 2.501.4 mln, long-term credits - by 8.4% to AZN 6.651.4 mln, and overdue credits - by 42.1 % to AZN 509.4 mln, compared to the same period of last year.
