Mugan Bank sees 33% rise in assets year-on-year

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. As of April 1, 2011, Azerbaijan-based Mugan Bank’s assets stood at AZN 205.392 mln, up 32.8% from year earlier.

Bank says the loan portfolio rose 32% to AZN 142.566 mln, deposit portfolio extended 19.2% to AZN 66.302 mln.

Total capital soared 19.2% to AZN 26.461 mln, including authorized capital surged 17.1% to AZN 22.250 mln.

Number of clients increased by 32% to 46, 619, including individuals by 40% to 41,900 and legal entities decreased by 11.1% to 4,815. Plastic cards dropped 18% to 7, 339, including debit cards decreased by 17.3% to 6,548, credit cards by 23% to 791.

Besides, bank established 2 branches, 7 ATMs and 9 POS-terminals.

Remind that, Mugan Bank has been in operation since 1992. The bank operates 30 branches, 37 ATMs and 78 POS-terminals across the country.
