Azer-Turk Bank gets 36% rise in deposit portfolio year-on-year

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. As of April 1, 2011, Azer-Turk Bank’s assets stood at AZN 50.663 mln, up 17% compared to a year ago.

Bank says the loan portfolio rose 2.7% to AZN 33.104 mln, including consumption loan soared 13% to AZN 12.408 mln, short-term loan (given for up to 12 months) decreased by 6.8% to AZN 6.405 mln, long-term loan (given for over 12 months) surged 5.2% to AZN 26.699 mln, overdue credits climbed 36.2% to AZN 1.850 mln.

Deposit portfolio advanced 36% at AZN 31.297 mln, including term deposits went up 41% to settle at AZN 19.292 mln, demand credits grew 29% to ZAN 12.005 mln, population’s deposit gained 5.1% to AZN 12.682 mln.

Total capital slid 12.3% to AZN 11.189 mln, including authorized capital approximately rose 10% to AZN 10.991 mln.

Total income soared 5.3% to AZN 1.871 mln, expenditure surged 4.2% to AZN 1.578 mln. Profit dropped 36.4% to AZN 0.293 mln, net profit slipped 56.4% to AZN 0.182 mln.
