Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan and European Bank for Reconstruction and Development have signed 8 loan agreements in amount of $ 479.45 mln, during past 19 years.
According to Cabinet o Ministers, 7 of them in amount of $ 172.42 mln have been implemented. Implementation of $ 307 mln-1 agreement is underway: “As of January 1, 2011, Azerbaijan has used $ 459.18 mln of EBRD’s loan and this makes 95% of total sum. $ 159.5 mln has been repaidâ€.
Besides, Azerbaijan has received 117 grants which amounted as $ 34.431 mln (€ 25.811 mln) from EBRD, during 1992-2010. 87 (€ 22.131 mln or $ 29.523 mln) of them have been implemented. 30 (€ 3.678 mln or $ 4.908 mln) are underway.
Note that Azerbaijan has been in cooperation with EBRD since 1992.
