3rd International Bank Conference starts in Baku - <font color=red>PHOTOSESSION</font>

According to APA-Economics bankers of Azerbaijan and CIS countries, 180 participants consisting of representatives from Finance and Banking Council of CIS (FBC) attend the conference. The main subject of the conference is cooperation in financial and banking spheres and experience exchange.

According to Jahangir Hajiyev, chairman of Central Bank of Azerbaijan, the importance of the conference after crisis is very great: â€œExperience exchange of financial institutions is very important after the crisis.â€

Then he spoke about the banking sphere and noted that a high development was observed in this sector: â€œAt the same time there are problems to be solved that the experience exchange in this sector will be important.â€ He also spoke about the CBAâ€™s achievements, appreciation of its activity by international financial organizations and the role of bank in Southern Caucasus.

According to CIS deputy Executive Secretary, Eugeni Novojilov importance of modernization of economies after crisis was observed and the banking sector must play a leading role in this sphere.

Officials of Finance and Banking Council of CIS (FBC), heads of large banks made speeches at the opening ceremony of the conference.
