Minister of Finance Samir Sharifov: â€œPast 9 months of 2010 must be noted as next successfully development stage of Azerbaijanâ€™s economyâ€

â€œThe GDP rose 4.1% to AZN 29.3 bln, average monthly salary increased by 6.6% to AZN 319, per head income climbed 10$ to AZN 2016, per head GDP soared 2.8% to AZN 3 286, in January-September, 2010,m compared with a year ago. Populationâ€™s income after taxes made up 11.3% compared with a year ago. Paid services rose 10.5% from year ago. Retail commodity circulation rose 8.5%, populationâ€™s deposit in banks surged 34.4%. Azerbaijan conducted trade turnover with 140 countries during the same period. Total cost of this made $20.2 bln, including export made $ 15.7 bln, import made $ 4.5 bln. Balance of foreign trade was positive as $ 11.2 bln.â€

According to him state budget income was fulfilled by AZN 7 505 000 000 or 93.6% during the same period, up AZN 270 000 000 or 3.7% compared with a year ago. Ministry of Taxes transferred to state budget AZN 3 bln 128 mln. Of this, 1 bln 768 mln came from non-oil sector.

He also noted that State Customs Committee transferred to state budget AZN 730 mln. â€œSOFAZ transferred AZN 3 bln 625 mln. State budget was transferred AZN 22 mln from other incomes. State budget expenditure made AZN 6 bln 837 mln, up AZN 380 mln or 5.9% compared with a year ago. Of this, 20% went to defence, 14.2% to agriculture, 13.9% to social protection and social maintenance, 9.4% to communal economy, 8.3% to culture, 5.9% to health.â€
