Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan Industry Insurance earned AZN 3.961 mln insurance premiums during January-September, 2010, up 27.45 compared with a year ago.
Company says the payment on insurance risks doubled to AZN 1.045 mln, during the same period.
Company earned AZN 3.567 mln from voluntary insurance types, AZN 394.238 mln from compulsory insurance types.
Most of the premiums came from Cargo insurance (AZN 1.990 mln), Health insurance (AZN 517.453 thousand), Property insurance (AZN 387.484 thousand).
The company paid AZN 1.041 mln for voluntary insurance types, AZN 4.230 thousand for compulsory insurance types. Most of the payment went to Cargo insurance (AZN 692.818 thousand), Health insurance (AZN 204.736 thousand) and Vehicle insurance (AZN 99.978 thousand).
Azerbaijan Industry Insurance has been in operation since 1996. The company operates 22 voluntary and 4 compulsory insurance types.
