Azerbaijani Parliament starts discussion of bill on budget of State Social Protection Fund for 2011

Hadi Radjabli, the Chairman of the Permanent Commission for Social Policy of Parliament noted that money income increased by 10.2%, per head income by 9.8%, average monthly salary by 5.7%, average monthly sum of labour pension by 11% during January-August, 2010, in Azerbaijan while the indexes in most countries decreased during the global financial crisis. According to him the income and expenditure of the fundâ€™s budget are forecasted to AZN 1 970.540 mln in 2011.
Then SSPF Chairman Salim Muslumov spoke about the budgetâ€™s parameters. According to him the SSPF income made AZN 1 275 mln, social insurance premiums â€“ AZN 777 mln, transfer from state budget â€“ AZN 497 mln and other income â€“ AZN 1.3 mln during the 9 months of 2010.
The bill on budget of fund for next year plans the budget balanced income and expenditure and the spending and income is forecasted to be AZN 1 970.540 mln, up 12.1% or AZN 213.3 mln. Payments to population wil make AZN 1 917.7 mln, up ANZ 229.4 mln or 13.6% compared with current year.
Of this, AZN 1 853 mln or 96.6% makes pension spending, AZN 64.6 mln or 3.4% - benefit spending. Pension spending will increase by 13.4%, benefit spending by 18.7% compared with current year.
