Azerbaijan posts an 8.3% year-on-year rise in GDP

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Gross domestic product â€“ the output of goods and services produced by labor and property in Azerbaijan grew by 8.3% year-on-year during January-October to AZN 26.6 billion.

The State Statistical Committee said GDP per capital increased to AZN 3 021.1 ($3 757.6) for this period, up 6.9% from a year ago.

Net tax on products and imports accounted for 7.7% of GDP.

The non-oil sector accounted for 45.1% of GDP, up 10.6 percentage points from a year ago.
