Qala Sigorta to make available 2 new types of insurance services

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-ECONOMICS. Azerbaijan-based insurance company Qala Sigorta will make available 2 new types of insurance services by late February 2010, said Abbas Babayev, Chairman of the Board.

According to him, the company is preparing paperwork to apply to the Ministry of Finance for a license to provide "Financial risk insurance" and "Travel insurance".

"The delay in permits for these types of insurance is due to the development of standard rules by the Ministry of Finance for insurance companies. If everything is OK, we will be able to provide services before the end of the first quarter next year", he noted.

The company currently provides 6 types of voluntary and 6 types of compulsory insurance services.

Qala Sigorta was granted a perpetual license by the Ministry of Finance on July 31, 2008.
