Economic Research Center: Azerbaijan logs 1.16% inflation in October

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Consumer Price Index rose by 1.16 percent in Azerbaijan, including 2.15 percent in Baku 0.20 percent in regions during October, according to the Economic Research Centerâ€™s report based on the Alternative Inflation Methodology Development Project.

The report is based on surveys on goods and services in 11 regions of the country.

Prices of non-foods rose by 0.26 percent, services 4.91 percent and foodstuffs by 0.18 percent.

According to statistics, the consumer prices change was 0.7% deflation for January-October and 3.58% deflation as against October 2008.
