Mortgage loans total AZN 134 million in Azerbaijan

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. About 1 400 families have taken out mortgage loans worth AZN 59 million in Azerbaijan since the restart of the government-funded mortgage lending programme in June 1, 2009, said Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund.

According to the statement, about 300 families received AZN 12 million worth of home loans in October alone.

In total AZN 134 million has been lent to 3 400 families since the launch of the mortgage lending programme in March 2006.
