BP-led AIOC slashes tax payment in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Tax revenue of Azerbaijanâ€™s state budget during January-September came 25% or AZN 641.4 million from the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) and 8.2% or AZN 210.8% from a BP-led international consortium â€“ Azerbaijan International Operating Company (AIOC).

According to the statistics, as against a year ago SOCARâ€™s tax payment was down 25.5% and AIOCâ€™s tax payment was down 88.2% million.

The Ministry of Taxes collected 66.8% or AZN 1 715.6 million of taxes from the non-oil sources.
