Azerbaijan sees corporate securities market spiked by 11%

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. The value of transactions on corporate securities market increased by 11.2% year-on-year to 344 360 427 manats in Azerbaijan during January-September, said the State Committee for Securities. However, the number of transactions dropped by 2.6-fold to 1 850.

Besides, 1 802 stock deals worth 264 814 743 manats were registered, down 2.7% in number and up 1.2% in value.

The primary market was 139 720 247 manats and the secondary market - 35 108 338.

Off-exchange transactions on corporate stocks fell by 28.3% to 89 986 158 manats.

Transactions on corporate bonds rose by 65.5% to 79 545 684 manats.
