Azerbaijanâ€™s 2010 state budget to get 49.7% of revenue from tax

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA-ECONOMICS. The total revenue of Azerbaijan’s state budget for 2010 is predicted at AZN 10 015.0 million, of which AZN 4 978.0 million or 49.71% are expected to come from taxes, said the Parliamentary Commission on Economic Policy.

The state budget revenue is up 3.2% from 2009, down 6.1% from 2008 and tax revenue is up 6.8% and down 26% respectively.

Of the tax revenue, AZN 1 776.0 million come from profit tax, AZN 680.0 million from individual income tax, AZN 1 096.0 million from corporate profit tax, AZN 136.0 million from land tax, AZN 101.0 million from property tax, AZN 1 876.0 million from VAT, AZN 90.0 million from simplified tax, AZN 552.0 million from excise taxes, AZN 40.5 million from road tax, AZN 130.0 million from extractive mining tax.
