Azerbaijan to attend microfinance summit in Washington

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-ECONOMICS. Azerbaijan Micro-Finance Association (AMFA) will take part at the 11th International Microfinance Associations Summit in Washington (USA), said Jala Hajiyev, Executive Director of the AMFA.

According to her, the summit to be attended by 46 countries will focus on key issues around areas such as finance, value chain development, poverty outreach, and social performance.
It will also include industry leader keynotes, providing insights on important trends in microenterprise development.

Established in 2001, Azerbaijan Micro-Finance Association joins 14 of 16 micro-financial institutions in Azerbaijan.
