United Credit Bank raises capital

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based United Credit Bank plasn to increase its authorized capital stock by 83% to AZN 22 million, said Vahid Aliyev, deputy chairman of the Bank.

According to him, AZN 100 million worth of stock issue will be placed as late as March 2010.

Owned by a legal entity and two individuals, United Credit Bank has been in operation since 1996.

As of October 1, United Credit Bank posted its assets at AZN 34.527 million, loan portfolio at AZN 25.301 million, deposit portfolio at AZN 10.428 million, total equity capital at AZN 13.033 million and authorized capital stock at AZN 12.108 million.
