UniLeasing posts leasing portfolio at AZN 32 million

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of October 1, Azerbaijan-based UniLeasing Company posted its leasing portfolio at $32 million, down 17% from early this year.

The company said in total AZN 5.6 million worth of 189 sets of equipment have been leased on 160 contracts during January-September 2009.

Since its inception, the company has to date leased in total AZN 51.2 million worth of 859 contracts.

Leasing portfolio went 24% to contraction and sector, 23% to production, 16% to consumption, 14% to trade, 10% to transport, 3% to medical sector and 10% to other sectors.

UniLeasing has regional branches in Gandja, Lenkeran, Sheki, Guba and Saatli.

UniLeasing, owned by UniBank, has been in operation since 2004.
