Kapital Bank sees a 6% rise in assets

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-ECONOMICS. As of October, Azerbaijan-based Kapital Bank has posted its assets at AZN 449.217 million, up 6.1% from a year ago.

Deposit portfolio increased by o.8% to AZN 226.189 million, loan portfolio rose by 16% to AZN 222.225 million while consumer lending dropped by 35.8% to 63.974 million.
Total equity capital jumped by 4.6% to AZN 77.593 million and authorized capital stock stood at AZN 24 million, said the bank.
Revenue increased by 12.2% to AZN 45.950 million and expenditure rose by 8.8% to AZN 37.937 million. Profit went up 47% to AZN 7.837 million.
Profit went up by 31% to AZN 8.013 million.
The bank established 1 branch and 47 ATMs over the past year. Average staff salary increased by 80.3% to AZN 575 and the number of staff decreased by 12.8% to 2 125.
The bank declined to release figures for loans and deposits.

The bank operates 91 branches, 314 ATMs and 406 POS terminals at present.

After privatization, Kapital Bank is owned by Pasha Holding (97.5%) and the bank staff (2.5%).

Kapital Bank has been in operation since 2000.
