Average Azerbaijani consumes goods worth AZN 106 a month

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-ECONOMICS. Consumer goods and services worth AZN 8 464.3 million were bought in Azerbaijanâ€™s trade and service outlets during January-September, up 8.5% from the same period last year, said the State Statistical Committee.

An average citizen paid AZN 106.3 a month for consumer goods at the trade and catering outlets during January-September, up 8.2% from the same period last year.

Foodstuffs accounted for 65.1 of the goods turnover. Foodstuffs worth AZN 5 507.2 million (+10.7%) and nonfoods worth 2 957.1 billion (+3.9%) were sold at outlets.
