World Bank more than doubles investment in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. The fixed investments in Azerbaijan by the World Bank (WB) was AZN 63 737 600 in January-Septembert, up 2.2 times from the same period last year, said the State Statistical Committee.

The WP investment accounted for 7% of fixed capital investments in Azerbaijan by foreign countries and international institutions.

Azerbaijan joined the World Bank in 1992. Since then, the WB has provided more than $2.2 billion financial assistance to Azerbaijan.
