AGBank sees drop in deposit portfolio

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. As of October 1, Azerbaijan-based AGBank posted its assets at AZN 227.339 million, up 4.6% from a year ago.

The bank said deposit portfolio decreased by 1.18% to AZN 105.481 million, loan portfolio rose by 11.1% to AZN 175.918 million and consumer lending grew by 1.7% to AZN 12.356 million.

Total capital increased by 19% to AZN 35.724 million and authorized capital stock stood at AZN 15 million.

As against a year ago, revenue increased by 12.1% to AZN 28.603 million and expenditure rose by 12.4% to AZN 21.041 million. Profit increased by 24% year-on-year to AZN 3.997 million.

The bank established 3 branches, 3 ATMs and 8 POS terminals over the past year.

The number of employees increased by 13.4% to 450 and average monthly salary dropped by 2.3% to AZN 860.

Established in 1992, AGBank operates 16 branches, 55 ATMs and 450 POS terminals across the country.
