Baku Insurance sees 64% drop in proceeds

BakÄ±. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based Baku Sigorta Insurance Company has posted its insurance proceeds for January-September at AZN 2.735 million, down 63.6% from a year ago.

The company said payment for insurance claims increased by 71% year-on-year to AZN 991 154.
Premiums most came from vehicle insurance, health insurance and compulsory insurance.

Baku Sigorta, owned by Bank Respublika (51%), has been in operation since August 2007.
