Gunay Anadolu gets 28% decline in insurance premiums

Baku. Elnur Huseynquluyev â€“ APA-Economics. Gunay Anadolu Insurance Company earned $1.584 million in premiums during January-September 2009, down 27.8% from the same period last year.

The Azeri-Turkish Joint Venture said payment for insurance claims surged by 49%, year-on-year, to AZN 177 906.

The number of insurance policies fell by 40% year-on-year to 869.

Gunay Anadolu has been in operation since 1992.
