Fitch: Azerbaijan will see economic growth at 3.5% in 2009

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijanâ€™s GDP is expected to grow by 3.5% this year, said Fitch Ratings.

â€œAzerbaijanâ€™s GDP is predicted to grow by 3.5% to AZN 23 335.5 million in 2009 and by 6 to AZN 27 352.6 million in 2010, said the report.

According to the report, Azerbaijanâ€™s GDP growth rate was 21% on average during 2004-2008.
