Azerbaijan hosts an exhibition for investors

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-ECONOMICS. Azerbaijan Microfinance Association (AMFA) has today held an exhibition for investors.

The event was also joined by the chairman of the parliamentary commission on economic policy Ziyad Samadzade, executive director of the AMFA Jala Hajiyev, country director of USAID, Scott Taylor, and others.

Jala Hajiyeva said the purpose of the event was to provide world market access to non-bank lenders and micro-lending commercial banks.

"Representatives from several foreign financial institutions with the remarkable investment in the CIS area are attending. Our hope is that this event will help our associationâ€™s members to access new capital,â€ she noted.

Ziyad Samadzade briefed the participants about the ongoing economic reforms and legislation improvements in Azerbaijan.
