Azerbaijan sees 7% rise in ATM network

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. As of September 1, the number of ATMs across the country has reached 1 617, up 12.1% from a year ago and up 6.7% from early this year, said the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

915 or 57% of ATMs are in Baku, compared to 60% in the same period last year.

Commercial banks increase their ATM network because pension benefits and salaries are drawn from ATMs in Baku and regions.
