Kapital Bank and Azerdemiryolbank refute information about the arrest of branch officers

Baku. Elnur Guseynguluev - APA-ECONOMICS. Kapital Bank has announced that media reports about the alleged arrest of directors of its 11 branches are far from true.

â€œIt is absurd and we do not intend to comment on it. Those who spread such false information should be taken to court,â€ said Nazim Safarov, marketing officer at the bank.

Azerdemiryolbank also denied reports about the arrest of directors of its 7 branches.

â€œWe have just phoned directors of all branches. They all are at work,â€ said the bank.

Some media claimed that directors of 11 branches of Kapital Bank and directors of 7 branches of Azerdemiryolbank were arrested by police for taking bribe for extending large loans.
