Azerbaijan hosting an international exhibition for investors

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-Economics. With support from Azerbaijan Microfinance Association (AMFA), an exhibition for the investors will take place in Baku on October 7, said Jala Hajiyeva, executive director of AMFA.

The exhibition will be attended by local and foreign-owned bank and nonbank lending institutions and microfinance organizations, she said.

Besides, representatives from 15 major foreign investment institutions, including the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Planet Finance (France), Triple Jump (Netherlands), International Finance Corporation (IFC), etc. are expected to participate.

She added that representatives from some 100 local lending institutions will take part in the exhibition.

Azerbaijan Microfinance Association has been in operation since 2001. AMFA joins 14 of 16 microfinance institutions in Azerbaijan.
