Azerbaijan Credit Unions Association postpones annual conference

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-ECONOMICS. Azerbaijan Credit Unions Association has postponed its 4th conference scheduled for the second half of October 2009.

Elchin Bagirov, Chairman of the Association, said the annual conference was called off due to the lack of money to organize it.

"We hold a conference on the International Day of Credit Unions (October 15) annually. Unfortunately, we put off it due to lack of funds,â€ he added.

Established in 2003, Azerbaijan Credit Unions Association joins 47 of 79 active credit unions in Azerbaijan.
