IMF: Azerbaijan will see 2.2% inflation in 2009

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-ECONOMICS. The consumer prices index is expected to increase by 2.2% at the end of 2009, said an updated report issued by the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

According to the IMF outlook, inflation will increase from 2.2% in 2009 to 5.3% in 2010 and 6% in 2014.

Among the CIS countries, Ukraine will have the highest inflation (14%) in 2009, followed by Belarus (11%), Russia (11%), and Uzbekistan (10,2%).
