World Bank to step up project funding in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-ECONOMICS. The Government of Azerbaijan and the World Bank (WB) have analysed the portfolio of projects implemented in the country with financial support from the Wold Bank.

The WB office in Baku said the parties agreed to further intensify the use of funds allocated for Azerbaijan.

In addition, the parties have developed a joint protocol on measures to be taken to intensify the process of funding.

Azerbaijan became a member of the World Bank in1992.
