Azerbaijan will introduce electronic tax invoices in 2010

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA-ECONOMICS. Azerbaijan’s Cabinet of Ministers has approved the "Rules for the introduction, accounting and use of electronic tax invoices".
Under the decision, AZN 529 000 has been allocated from the Contingency Fund to the Ministry of Taxes for the introduction of electronic tax invoices from January 1, 2010.
Under the approved rules, the account numbers and series of electronic tax invoices will be conducted through an automated tax information system.
VAT payer shall provide tax invoice to the buyer in electronic format during the taxable operations.
The rules also reflect how to fill and preparer invoices.
