Azerbaijan posts a 5% year-on-year rise in GDP

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Gross domestic product â€“ the output of goods and services produced by labor and property in Azerbaijan grew by 5% year-on-year during January-August to AZN 20.6 billion.

The State Statistical Committee said GDP per capital increased by 3.7% AZN 2 341.3 ($2 912.1) for this period.

Net tax on products and imports accounted for 7.9% of GDP.
