CIS Finance Ministers meet in Moscow

Moskva. R.Metleboghluâ€“ APA. CIS Ministers of Finance have today gathered in Moscow to discuss the impact of global financial crisis and effective anti-crisis measures.

Azerbaijanâ€™s Minister of Finance Samir Sharif told a press briefing following the meeting that they discussed a number of issues of mutual interest.

According to him, the ministers shared the opinion that redevelopment of anti-crisis measures be continued and the activities be reported to the CIS Summit of Heads of State.

This is the third meeting of finance ministers on countering the global economic crisis.

"Most countries have more potential to exit the economic recession and see some recovery.
Azerbaijan posted GDP growth in the face of the crisis. We saw a 5% rise in GDP over eight months of this year" he added.
