Bank of Azerbaijan finalizes slogan competition

Baku – APA-Economics. Bank of Azerbaijan in association with www.mak.az website has finalized the results of the open contest for the best corporate slogan of the Bank.

It should be recalled that early August of the current year, Bank of Azerbaijan has offered a unique possibility for young marketers for the first time in Azerbaijan aiming to support various professional communities at the basis of its Corporate Social Responsibility policy. Thus, four young and promising marketing specialists of our country have got an opportunity with the support of Bank to take part in master classes held in Ukrainian capital, city of Kiev on September 16 and dedicated to the Management and Marketing in the period of Changes led by Philip Kottler.

In order to participate in master classes of Philip Kottler, young marketing professionals had to send the best draft corporate slogan for the Bank.

Mak.az internet resource uniting the Azerbaijani marketing community opened special topic dedicated to this contest for organizing an effective contest. In the course of this contest, over 100 participants have sent more than 1000 slogans. All of the proposed slogans have been analyzed by the Bank management. According to the decision of the Bank’s Board, for the time being, none of these draft slogans coincide fully with the vision and goals of the Bank.

In spite that the slogan has not been chosen yet for the Bank, the Bank management considering a keen public interest to this contest has decided to award valuable prizes to the best active participants.

“We do express our appreciation to all young marketing specialists who sent their suggested slogans. In spite that the slogan has not been chosen for the Bank, we have come to the decision to award the best participants. Thus, the slogan sent by Farhad Gafarzade became the best among all others in our opinion. This participant will be sent to Kiev to take part in the master classes - Management and Marketing in the period of Changes. We are thankful to all those who have actively participated in this contest and sent us their proposals,” – noted Mr.Khayal Sharifzade, the Chairman of the Board of the Bank of Azerbaijan.

Furthermore, Mr.Sharifzade went on as saying that the best other participants were Orkhan Yusifov and Mustafa Mamedov. They will get Gold Cards of the Bank with some amount of funds loaded on their account.

The said contest has been valued highly also by Mr.Mamed Kerimov, director of MakAcademy and website. He said: “The contest organized by the Bank of Azerbaijan is the first ever such competition. It has been organized very properly. It should be noted that employees of other banks have participated actively in this contest. I think that such contests are very important to stimulate young marketing specialists”.
