Azerbaijan sees corporate securities market spiked by 26%

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. The value of transactions on corporate securities market increased by 26% year-on-year to 302 956 185 manats in Azerbaijan during January-August, said the State Committee for Securities. However, the number of transactions dropped by 39.1%.

The primary market was 128 620 247 manats and the secondary market - 34 836 005. Off-exchange transactions on corporate stocks fell by 8.7-fold in number and 33% in value.

Transactions on corporate bonds rose by 55%.
