Texnikabank posts assets ay AZN 448 million

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of June 1, Azerbaijan-based Texnikabank posted its assets at AZN 447.6 million. The Return on Assets (ROA) was 1.93% during January-May.

The bank said loan book grew 5% during January-May to AZN 344.5 million and consumer loans lent to individuals reached AZN 60.7 million.

Deposit portfolio grew by 3.5% in May to AZN 140.9 million. Term deposits grew by 8% in May and accounted for 87.1% of AZN 80.2 million worth deposits made by the population.

Total equity capital grew by 15.3% to AZN 59.5 million and return on equity (ROE) was 15.92%.

With interest incomes increasing by 23.12%, the bankâ€™s total revenue went up by 15.64% in May to AZN 28.7 million. Net profit for January-May was AZN 8.5 million.

Established in 1993, Texnikabank operates 16 branches, 48 ATMs and 340 POS terminals across the country.
