The number of ATMs rose 15% and POS terminals by 4.4 times in Azerbaijan

Baku. Elnur Huseynguliyevâ€“ APA-Economics. As of May 1, the number of ATMs reached 1 572 in Azerbaijan, up 15.3% on a year ago.

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan said 690 ATMs are located in regions and the rest in Baku.

Besides, the number of POS terminals reached 8 404 in Azerbaijan, up 4.4 times on a year ago.

Of this, 7 588 are located in Baku.

POS terminals are mainly installed in retail trade, catering and service outlets
