Azeri banks reduce borrowings from financial sector

Baku. Vahab Rzayev â€“ APA-Economics. As of May 1, loans and deposits Azerbaijan-based commercial banks took from the financial sector totalled AZN 3 040.24 million, said the Central Bank of Azerbaijan.

According to statistics, this figure is a 6.9% decrease on early this year. However, there was a 3.8% increase in this figure during April.

Loans and deposits provided by the banks to the financial sector increased by 19.3% from early this year to AZN 494.98 million.
