Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. APA-Economics provides ranking of Azerbaijan-based banks for their various figures and financial performance.
The project aims to highlight banks’ financial performance and update the public and potential investors. In the table below, banks are ranked for profit growth in accordance with the available data as of April 1, 2009.

United Credit Bank got a loss of AZN 51 000 for the first quarter as against a profit of AZN 275 000 on the same period last year.

Khalg Bank posted a profit of AZN 5.049 million as against a loss of AZN 1.409 million in the first quarter last year.

Bank of Azerbaijan had a loss of AZN 36 000 as against a profit of AZN 426 000 in the first quarter last year.

Bank Avrasiya got a profit of AZN 552 000 as against a loss of AZN 184 000 in the first quarter last year.

Mughan Bank got a loss of AZN 637 000 as against a profit of AZN 518 000 in the first quarter last year.

Para Bank posted a loss of AZN 30 000 in the first quarter this year as against a loss of AZN 42 000 in the same period last year.

Kafkaz Development Bank posted a loss of AZN 520 000 in the first quarter as against a loss of AZN 684 000 in the same period last year.

Debut Bank posted a loss of AZN 707 000 in the first quarter as against a profit of AZN 1.054 million in the same period last year.

Azfinansbank launched operation in February 2009.
