Jahangir Hajiyev reelected chairman of International Bank of Azerbaijan

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev - APA-Economics. International Bank of Azerbaijanâ€™s general meeting of the shareholders has approved the new board.

The bank said Jahangir Hajiyev was reelected chairman of the Management Board.

Besides, Emil Mustafayev will be the first deputy chairman, and Vagif Akbarov, Asgar Mammadov Rovshan Karimov will be deputy chairmen.

As Azerbaijanâ€™s and the regionâ€™s largest bank, the International Bank of Azerbaijan with a governmentâ€™s 50.2% stake is owned by the bank staff (10%) and private shareholders (40%).

As of April 1, assets stood at 3 308.797 million manats, deposit portfolio - 1 606.810 million manats, ;ending portfolio - 2 279.951 million manats, total capital - 391.188 million manats, including authorized capital stock - 193.834 million mantas.

The bank operates 36 branches, 1 bureau of exchange, 589 ATMs, 2633 POS-terminal and 63 information kiosks across the country.
