ADB consultants will travel to Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. The Asian Development Bank will send its consultants Chan Fook Seng and Eesvin Choon for the CAREC Programme to Azerbaijan from June 7 to 11.

The ADB Office said the consultants will have meetings at the Ministry of Economic Development, State Customs Committee and TRACECA office in Baku to discuss several issues including the introduction of one-stop shop system.

CAREC is an ADB-supported initiative to encourage economic cooperation in Central Asia. Initiated in 1997, the program to date has focused on regional initiatives in transport, trade facilitation, trade policy, and energy critical to improving the economic performance of the region and the livelihoods of all peopleâ€”especially of the poor.
