Minister: Tax receipts from oil sector drops 15-20%

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA-Economics. There was a 41% rise in tax receipts from the private sector, said Fazil Mammadov, Azerbaijanâ€™s Minister of Taxes.

According to him, tax incomes from non-oil sector were not affected by he global financial crisis.

â€œThere was a 25% rise in tax incomes from non-oil sector in January-April. However, tax receipts from the oil consortium and SOCAR (national oil company) dropped by 15-20%,â€ he added.
