Taekwondo competitions have begun at the III European Games in Krakow, Poland, in 2023, Apasport.az reports.
The winners in four weight categories were determined on the first day.
Four Azerbaijan national team members competed on the dojang. Starting with the 1/8 finals, two men and two women put their skills to the test. Sayyad Dadashov placed second, and Gasim Magomedov earned the bronze medal.
Notably, the taekwondo competition will span four days, and Azerbaijan will be represented by eight athletes.
