Three Azerbaijani judokas have reached the finals of the Grand Slam tournament held in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, APA reports.
Vugar Talibov and Eljan Hajiyev faced off for the championship in the 90 kg weight category.
Eljan Hajiyev won the decisive match and experienced the joy of winning the championship in the Grand Slam tournaments for the first time in his career. Vugar Talibov won the silver medal.
In the +100 kg weight category, our other judoka Jamal Gamzatkhanov will face Tajikistan's Temur Rahimov in the final.
In the fight for the bronze medal, Kenan Nasibov (+100 kg) will meet Uzbek representative Utkirbek Turoboyev.
It should be noted that before this, Azerbaijani Balabey Aghayev (60 kg) has already won the gold medal.
