Azerbaijani athletes who were called back from European Weightlifting Championship left Armenia-UPDATED

"At last, delegation of Azerbaijan is returning back to homeland. The team has left Armenia and entered Georgia," notes Head of press service of Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Gabil Mehdiyev APA reports.

The Azerbaijani weightlifters who were called back from the European weightlifting championship held in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, have already left Armenia, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia, Karen Giloyan said, APA reports citing Sputnik Armenia.

"Azerbaijani athletes have already crossed the border of Armenia," said the deputy minister.
