Kamaladdin Heydarov, the President of the Azerbaijan Taekwondo Federation, who is on a visit to Jordan, has met with Prince Rashid bin Al Hassan, President of the Jordanian Taekwondo Federation, the Azerbaijan Taekwondo Federation told APA.
It was reported that during the meeting, the parties discussed the development of taekwondo in Azerbaijan and Jordan, the achievements made, and emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation between the two federations to further popularize the sport and a wide exchange of views was held.
At the end of the meeting, a "Memorandum of Cooperation on Strengthening Taekwondo Development between the Azerbaijan Taekwondo Federation and the Jordan Taekwondo Federation" was signed.
Under the memorandum, cooperation is planned in various areas, including joint training camps, seminars, exchange of experience between athletes and coaches, and other collaborative initiatives to enhance ties in the field of taekwondo between Azerbaijan and Jordan.
