Azerbaijan’s GDP grew by 34.4% y-o-y during January-November

Gross domestic product – the output of goods and services produced by labor and property in Azerbaijan- grew by 34.4% year on year, in the eleven months of 2006, to AZN 16.3294 billion, State Statistical Committee told APA.
70.5% of the added value was made in the production, which is a 44.6% rise on the same period last year. The amount of the added value in the services grew by 16.3%, year-over-year, which makes 22.9% in the GDP.
Net tax on imports and products made up 6.6%.
During this period the added value of AZN 9.5bn (58% of GDP) was made in industry, AZN 821.8m (5%) in agriculture, hunting and foresting, AZN 1.2bn(7.5%) in construction, AZN 1.031bn (6.3%) in transportation, AZN 308.2m (1.9%) in communications, AZN 901.1 m (5.5%) in wholesale, retail, repair services for cars, household things, AZN 118.9m (0.7%) in hotel and restaurant, AZN 1.392bn (8.5%) in social services.
Per capita GDP rose 32.9% to AZN 1 953.2 or $2 181.4. /APA/
